E-RYT 200, RYT500

When not teaching Yoga, I am often in my studio, making sterling silver jewelry or collages, working in the yard, reading or walking the dog. My Slovak great grandparents tended a 700-acre farm that was a discovery haven - rooting me to the earth, the seasons, and family. Childhood road trips planted a desire to travel, seek, and find. I love to discover travel with my husband Tom exploring like a local; under and above sea level.

Yoga Bliss/Amy Boswell nurtured the first part of my Yoga Teacher Training in 2013. A desire to broaden my Yogic knowledge and enrich my offerings to students was fully supported by Yoga 108 School- Akron /Tracey Rhinehart. I am now a Yoga Alliance 500hr RYT, E-RYT200 instructor. In 2019 I became a Certified Alcohol-Free Living Coach and now offer TrueBlueSOUL and Living from A Naked Mind coaching and workshops to anyone interested in removing alcohol from their lifestyle permanently or temporarily.

I wouldn't be where or who I am today without the wisdom of those who I admire: my mom, my husband, Eva Hesse, Diane Ackerman, Brene Brown, Caroline Gronowski, Tracy Rhinehart, Amy Boswell, Julie Hicks, Annie Grace, Shiva Rea, Sean Corn and all of my students.

I am committed to providing opportunities for students to feel their way through practice. All of the above supports a creative and nurturing style of teaching Yoga. Instinctively moving with breath is magical for the body, the mind, and the soul's energies. My favorite Yoga to practice and to teach is Vinyasa Flow. I enjoy creating sequences that peak and evolve, stimulating focus, and creating opportunities to feel rooted strength, explore challenge and sensation–a playful grace of flowing at one's own pace. We are all works in progress – I try to nurture what is inside of me as much as I hope to inspire my students to believe in and trust what is already inside of them. It's an honor to hold space for anyone who shows up to practice with me.
