Who do you most admire and why? Apart from my family, I look up to anyone who tries to make the world a more beautiful place.
What is your favorite yoga pose and why? Camatarasana (Wild Thing). It is heart-opening, free, and has graceful lines for such a strong pose.
When did you start practicing yoga? I started a regular yoga practice in 2011. Prior to yoga I was a competitive cheerleader and a collegiate dancer. Through my dance training I was introduced to yoga and its alignment and movement principles.
Who are your teachers and where did you train? I have had many wonderful teachers along the way, but Amy Boswell-Graves, Ron White, and Tami Polley Schneider have greatly influenced my practice and yoga journey. I trained at Yoga Bliss and Cleveland Yoga.
Describe your teaching style: My teaching style is fun, challenging, and positive.
What is your motto? “The happiest people I know are not those who find their golden ticket; they are those who, while in pursuit of worthy goals, discover and treasure the beauty and sweetness of the everyday moments.” - Dieter F. Uchtdorf
