Shana began practicing yoga while she was pregnant with her second child. In 2012, she earned a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Tami Schneider and Lisa Davis at Cleveland Yoga.
For over a decade, Shana has had the pleasure of practicing with a variety of teachers from all over the country. Her “aha” moment in yoga came while practicing with Max Strom, yoga instructor and author. He said that clarity comes when “the eyes and the ears of the heart are open”. Through the practice of yoga and meditation, we see that which cannot be seen with our eyes. We awaken within us that which is asleep, dormant, and we come alive.
In her classes, Shana creates a supportive environment and then gives students space for their own personal experiences. Expect a challenging and well-rounded practice, thoughtfully curated playlists, and lots and lots of breath in all of the classes Shana leads.
