SAMANTHA COLLMAR

After many years of practicing yoga while training to run marathons, Samantha became a Registered Yoga Teacher on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii in May 2021. During Yoga Techer Training her classmates loved her hands-on assists and encouraged her to become a Massage Therapist.  Monthly massages have always been a part of her marathon training routine. Sam knew she would enjoy helping others, the way her massage therapist had always helped her!  She earned her Massage Therapy Certificate from Stark State College in May 2023 and obtained her license from the State of Ohio the very next month. She returned to Stark State in January 2024 to specialize in Sports Massage, and earned an Associate Degree in Massage Therapy in December 2024. In 2025 she became a nationally board certified massage therapist and traveled to the Stretch to Win institute in Phoenix, AZ, where she certified in Fascia Stretch Therapy™.  Outside of yoga and massage, she cares deeply about the running community. She has been an RRCA certified running coach since 2016 and is the co-event director of Sippo Lake parkrun since helping found the event back in April 2019.  Outside of work, Sam absolutely loves traveling and experiencing coffee culture wherever she goes! She’s also a lover of English football and referees youth soccer in the area. Her rescue dog Teddy was named after Ted Lasso, and he is the bestest boy there ever was!
