About me

I am the proud mother of three amazing young adults. Aside from work and family, my passions include travel, art museums, hiking, musicals, photography, reading, and gardening. Having previously worked as a CPA, I genuinely enjoy the business side of running our studios—I am proudly one of those people who thinks accounting is fun!

I took my first yoga class in 2008 at Lifestyles and was immediately hooked by both the physical challenge and the profound sense of joy and courage it brought me. Wanting to share those incredible feelings from the very beginning, I started leading classes for friends in my basement. I earned my 200-hour teacher training certificate from Cleveland Yoga in 2010, and by 2011, I graduated my basement studio into a "real" studio space in Fairlawn. Since then, I’ve earned my 500-hour certification and continued expanding my practice through intensive trainings across North America.

The renowned yoga teacher Seane Corn gave me the courage to embark on a new, unfamiliar path and face challenges that helped me grow and evolve. I feel deeply fortunate to have accompanied Seane on service trips to Haiti and India, as well as to have welcomed her to Yoga Bliss as a guest teacher. I have also learned so much from practicing alongside incredible leaders like Tiffany Cruikshank, Bryan Kest, Kathryn Budig, Baron Baptiste, and Sianna Sherman.

I love heart openers, especially Camel pose—back-bending always makes me feel joyful. Whether I am practicing or teaching, I visualize positive energy and love shooting out into the universe from my and my fellow yogis' open hearts :) My classes are challenging but FUN! I love creating unique sequences and trying to incorporate arm balances and fun "tricks" into our time together, while always encouraging laughter and not taking ourselves too seriously.

I truly believe that yoga gives us the tools to make the world a better place. Every time we step onto our mat, we practice presence, patience, playfulness, perseverance, honesty, trust, courage, surrender, gratitude, acceptance, non-judgment, kindness, empathy, compassion, love of self and others, grit, calm determination, and so much more!

“Caroline is amazing. Super accessible, super nice and friendly. I also liked how prompt, to the point, and educative she was. She is "mamma bear" of the group and always will be. Love her.”

“This teaching experience would not be the same without Caroline. She teaches what she loves and in return creates a safe environment for her students to love what she teaches and want to learn more. I can truly say this was the highlight of my week. I enjoyed coming to every class. I can't say the same about attending any other schooling in my history. But this was so life-changing, nourishing, and left me wanting to continue with more.”
