Welcome! Everyone starts somewhere, and our instructors are here to guide you. If you're new to yoga, we recommend Power Basics or Gentle Flow. If you're interested in strength training, Yoga Sculpt or Barre Classic are excellent introductions. Let your instructor know it's your first class—we'll help you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.
-
Not at all! Flexibility is something you gain through practice. Our classes are designed to help you improve mobility, strength, and balance at your own pace.
-
Absolutely. Our instructors offer modifications and options throughout class, allowing you to practice at the level that's right for you. There's no expectation to be "good" at yoga—just come with an open mind.
-
Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. We practice barefoot; shoes and socks are left in cubbies at the door.
-
Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and a small towel. If you don't have a mat, don't worry—we have mats available to rent and water available for purchase.
-
Many of our yoga and sculpt classes are practiced in a heated room to help warm the muscles and enhance the experience. Barre classes are typically non-heated. Check each class description for details.
-
Most heated classes range between approximately 90–95°F, creating a warm, comfortable environment that supports movement without feeling overwhelming.
-
Yoga Sculpt combines power yoga with strength training using light weights and functional movements. It's a full-body workout that builds strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness while maintaining the mindfulness of yoga.
-
Barre blends elements of ballet, Pilates, strength training, and functional movement into a low-impact, high-energy workout that strengthens your entire body while improving posture, balance, and stability.
-
Yes! Both classes are designed with modifications for every fitness level. You can adjust the intensity to meet your individual needs.
-
A light snack 1–2 hours before class is usually best. Avoid eating a large meal immediately beforehand, especially before heated classes.
-
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your first class. This gives you time to check in, meet your instructor, and get settled before class begins.
-
Life happens! If you’re late, enter quietly so as not to disrupt the class in session. Don’t worry, you won’t be in trouble!
-
This is not required, but reserving your spot online ensures you'll have a space in class and allows you to check in quickly when you arrive.
-
No! Yoga, Sculpt, and Barre are for every body, every age, and every stage of your wellness journey. Our goal is to help you move, feel stronger, and leave feeling better than when you arrived.
-
That's completely normal! Every experienced yogi was once a beginner. Our instructors and community are welcoming, supportive, and committed to helping you have a positive first experience. Simply show up—we'll take care of the rest.
-
Yes. Please let your instructor know before class begins. We'll offer modifications and alternatives so you can practice safely and confidently.
-
Listen to your body. Rest whenever you need to, hydrate, and rejoin the class when you're ready. Yoga is about honoring where you are each day. We love the saying, “The wise yogi knows when to take child’s pose; the foolish yogi struggles and pushes beyond their edge.”
-
You'll leave feeling stronger, refreshed, and more connected—to both your body and our community. We hope your first visit is the beginning of a practice you'll enjoy for years to come!
