I enjoy connecting with others; learning about people and developing relationships with them. We are all on a different journey and can learn from each other. I also enjoy being creative with clothes, makeup, and hospitality and event planning, as my close friends and family can attest to. I’m a good old girlie girl with a splash of humor and adventure!
My 200-hour training has provided me with diverse teaching opportunities. In addition to Baptiste-style power yoga, I was trained in prenatal, hatha, restorative, gentle and slow flow yoga. I have a passion for alignment and helping students to accommodate their bodies’ limitations with modifications for asanas so that they can feel comfortable coming to a class and prepared how to manage their own practice.
I love teaching any style of yoga, but power is my favorite because of the opportunities it offers to exceed limitations and surpass your own expectations. In all of my classes I offer themes to mentally intrigue my students, inspiring music, hands-on assists to deepen poses or release tension, and a space to gather together as a community.
